About Us

    The White Lotus Association is an organization of martial art schools of all disciplines seeking to promote the exchange of knowledge and skills of their arts and to promote the virtues of love, faith, honor and courage within their schools.

    The White Lotus Association promotes on going martial arts training through 1) providing promotion and credentials for higher rank black levels 1 – 10 and  2) exchanging martial art knowledge and skills through teacher to teacher exchange and through seminars, tournaments and social events. 

    Schools and teachers are supported in building their schools through receiving money for every student they register in the association and through an equal division of funds from all white lotus association hosted events.  More importantly schools from diverse arts and localities around the world are unified and strengthened by agreeing to the common core of values of the association.

 The White Lotus flower has historically been associated with several martial arts systems because it shows survival and endurance through blossoming all year round.  It represents the martial arts ideal of persevering and protecting under many situations and difficulties.    Its beauty of spirit provides travelers in the wilderness a comforting aroma and delicate beauty symbolizes faith and love.   Its standing in the midst of rugged terrain, often alone, demonstrates its honor and courage.

The White Lotus Association logo bears the symbol of the White Lotus with five

petals along with the five virtues it stands for:  Love, Faith, Martial Arts, Honor, and Courage.The Chinese symbols in the center petal represent martial arts ideals.  It translates as, “A Warrior with Compassion.”  All members receive this symbol in patch form for their yearly membership along with an annual membership certificate.
